 Each class begins with a Yoga based warm- up and isolated dance moves characteristic of Indian Dance. Dance steps are first taught slowly and then practiced to high energy music with lots of repetition to raise the heart-rate. The dance steps are then put together to popular Bollywood and Bhangra songs, resulting in learning choreographed dances (while getting fit and having a great time).  A mixture of waist and hand hooping, starting with basic manipulation of the hoop progressing on to tricks with a view to developing an individual style. Smooth transitions between moves in a dance-like quality are taught as well as exploring yoga postures to promote correct alignment; stretching the body with the aid of the hula- hoop.

Hydro Dance & Hydro Yoga: 
 available  term-time at Kernow Hydro. 
Wednesdays & Fridays 12pm, £7.50 
 
A 35 degree pool; move and stretch with the support of the water, to music.


                                      Yoga-Dance: A revitalising class exploring Hatha yoga postures that are linked movements to music. The body is systematically mobilised, building strength as well as flexibility, muscle tone and increasing overall alignment. A fresh approach to popular Yoga Asanas & Pranayama (breathwork) to build energy levels. Work with the rhythms of the music and enjoy the flow and fluidity of Yoga-Dance with Charlotte. Moderate tempo for minimal impact on the joints. Contact us to arrange a class of 6- 10 participants, £10 pp, in  a Studio in the heart of Truro near the cathdral.

~If you have an injury, pain or a health problem or that you are aware of, please seek advice of your doctor before attending a class.
~All class members must complete a health and fitness questionnaire before attending an InspirAsian Dance Class.
