Each class begins with a Yoga-Dance warm up with isolated dance moves characteristic of Indian Dance. Dance steps are first taught slowly and then practiced to high energy music with lots of repetition to raise the heart-rate. The dance steps are then put
together to popular Bollywood and Bhangra songs, resulting in learning choreographed dances (while getting fit and having a great time). The session ends with a cool-down with emphasis on alignment and posture as well as stretching the whole body.

Hula-Hoop Dance for Beginners:

A mixture of waist and hand hooping, starting 
with basic manipulation of the hoop progressing on to tricks with a view to developing an individual style. Smooth transitions between moves in a dance-like quality are taught 
as well as exploring yoga postures to promote correct alignment; stretching the body with the aid of the hula- hoop.

 Yoga-Dance for Beginners: 


A relaxing yet energising form of movement, exploring yoga postures with flowing dance movements.  The body is systematically mobilised, building strength as well as flexibility, muscle tone and posture alignment.  Restore harmony and balance through practising Hatha Yoga techniques in Yoga-Dance sequences.

Gentle to moderate tempo for minimal impact on the joints. Contact us to arrange a class of 5- 10 participants, £10 pp, in LA Studio in the heart of Truro, which has a great view of the cathedral. Gather a bunch of friends and book a Yoga-Dance session with Charlotte.




About Classes:
~All classes are open to both males and females.
~If you have an injury, pain or a health problem or that you are aware of, please seek advice of your doctor before attending a class.
~All class members must complete a health and fitness questionnaire before attending an InspirAsian Dance Class.
~Please inform the tutor of any concerns about your health beforehand, all information will be kept confidential.
